For the exhibition Diaconia. Writing and Art, art historian and curator Bruno Corà narrates his relationship with Mario Diacono through a selection of events and exhibitions in which both took part. These include the exhibition Contemporanea held in 1973 in the parking space of Villa Borghese—where Corà was in charge of the section Informazione alternativa, and Mario Diacono of the section on visual and concrete poetry—and the Incontri Internazionali d’arte, all the way to the recent collaboration for the catalogue of the exhibition Burri. La poesia della materia at Fondazione Ferrero in Alba.

Bruno Corà (Roma, 1942), art critic and historian, is currently the President of Fondazione Palazzo Albizzini Collezione Burri.

He has taught at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Perugia (1979-1999), the University of Cassino (1999-2005) and the University of Florence (2005-2008), as well as other insitutions in Italy and abroad. A member of many advisory boards, he has published writings on the most outstanding international contemporary artists, and has organized and curated many scientific-artistic conferences. Corà has curated exhibitions in many different cities in Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, Russia, China, Iran and Lebanon.
