FLAMING CREATURES presents ASH OVERRITVAL, a musical project born from the collaboration between Giuseppe Armogida, Matteo Nasini, and Nicola Pecoraro. Its name, a tribute to Emilio Villa, introduces a path of improvised music that is consumed and regenerated in the very moment it takes shape: a joyful and catastrophic self-entropy that burns itself and draws energy from its own combustion. What emerges is a soundscape made of harmonies and dissonances, atonality and polytonality, unity and fragments devoid of a certain origin. Every sound is an enigma; and the darkness of the enigma is our closest proximity to life.
The event will take place in the first-floor room dedicated to UNAROMA LIVE.
Free admission until capacity is reached.

FLAMING CREATURES, Manus Itaf, 2026
Audio, 4’10’’
Manus Itaf is a sonic seal: both casket and key. A guardian of knowledge with no certain origin, of a force that moves through earth, sea, and stars. A talisman of interiority, where gesture becomes sound and sound withdraws into darkness.

FLAMING CREATURES is a non-profit project conceived by Giuseppe Armogida and dedicated to experimental art and music. Rising from the ashes of MINIERA, in 2025, the project fosters a dialogue between sound, space, and performance in unconventional contexts, promoting encounters between sonic, performative, and visual practices. FLAMING CREATURES supports contemporary musical research and encourages new forms of listening and participation, emphasizing the live experience as a moment of relationship and discovery.
