Giulio Donato, “Labirinti” (2024, 77’)

20 february 2026
Screening with Giulio Donato in attendance

Set in a small town in Calabria, Labirinti follows Francesco, a restless teenager going through a period of profound transformation. An encounter with an older peer and the discovery of a mysterious book become the starting point of a journey toward self-awareness, where desires, fears, and imagination intertwine. A coming-of-age story that portrays adolescence as a fragile and unstable space, suspended between reality and possibility.

GIULIO DONATO is an Italian director. Labirinti is his first feature film and was presented at the Giornate degli Autori section of the 2024 Venice International Film Festival. Prior to his directorial debut, he worked as an assistant director on numerous film productions.
