The event will take place in the first-floor room dedicated to UNAROMA LIVE.
Free admission until capacity is reached.

From January 9 to 14, 2026, the trace of Hugo Sanchez’s intervention will be on view withing the exhibition space.

Hugo Sanchez, Sound Bath
Audio, extemporaneous sound collage, various phonographic media, 4'59"

A sound bath is an immersion in frequencies meant to vibrate the senses and stimulate awakening. We do not listen only with our ears, we do not speak only with our mouths, we do not walk only with our feet. Sound becomes a guide according to the logic of deambulo ergo sum: I experience, therefore I am, or I sound, I resonate.

HUGO SANCHEZ (Rome, 1974) grew up playing with his parents’ turntable and their collection of French pop records from the 1960s. At the age of 12, he began experimenting with rudimentary sound reproduction instruments. At 17, he started working as a DJ within the independent cultural production scene. Over the years, he has built his own multimedia production studio/lab and has held DJ residencies in various clubs in Italy and abroad. He currently collaborates with Rodion on the project ALIEN ALIEN and with the record label ROCCODISCO. Together with Belgian DJ ATHOME, he shares the project FRONT DE CADEAUX.
