In a working-class neighbourhood on the outskirts of Rome, a group of teenagers experiences a summer suspended between boredom, friendship, and sudden outbursts of violence. Small local conflicts turn into a symbolic “war” made of alliances, rivalries, and tests of strength. Balancing realism with an affectionate gaze, the film captures the chaotic energy of adolescence, portraying a marginal territory as a formative space where play and brutality coexist, and identity takes shape on the border between belonging and rebellion.
