A film that explores emotions and relationships through an intimate and personal perspective. It investigates family and emotional bonds, shaping a narrative that moves between fragility and a desire for reconciliation, offering a sensitive portrait of the present. 

MARGHERITA SPAMPINATO is a director, screenwriter and editor. My Joy premiered in the Filmmakers of the Present competition at the 78th Locarno Film Festival, winning the Ciné+ Special Jury Award and the Pardo for Best Female Performance (Aurora Quattrocchi). It was also featured in the Alice nella Città – Panorama Italia section and named “Film of the Critics” by the Italian National Syndicate of Film Critics.
