Wolfgang Stoerchle (1944–1976)
Organized with Alice Dusapin

3 February 2021 – 27 June 2021
#Arrhythmics

Wolfgang Stoerchle (1944-1976) is one of the first irregular figures at the centre of the ARRHYTHMICS section.

As part of editor Alice Dusapin’s ongoing extensive research on Wolfgang Stoerchle, this solo exhibition gathers for the first time in an Italian museum significant works to tell the very particular story of an artist whose performances and videos made him a reference point for the Californian art scene of the 1970s, prior to his untimely death at the age of thirty-two.
