MARIO DIACONO AND THE APPARITION OF UN-READABILITY
Talk with Max Renkel

21 October 2021, 6.30 pm
#Arrhythmics

Max Renkel’s talk will outline the journey of one of the most important issues in modern art: its un-readability. A discussion on art, its sources, philosophies and position in modern society will be kickstarted through an analysis of the enigmatic work of Mario Diacono. The aim will not be to reach a technical or scientific explanation, but rather to develop greater consciousness on identity and on the value of art today.

Max Renkel is an artist born in Munich in 1966 where he also grew up. He graduated from the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. In 2013 he designed the book-interview by Mario Diacono and Luca Lo Pinto. He lives and works between Munich and Rome.
