Lab for New Imaginations
The MACRO’s Department for Preventive Education is delighted to announce the participants selected for the first edition of the Lab for New Imaginations.

Edoardo Ferrari (Mantova, 1996) is a designer interested in theoretical and practical research. His practice focuses on the investigation between printed matter and the exhibition form, (multi)media display and the theme of ‘making public’.

Mida Fiore (Potenza, 1996) is an Italian designer who lives and works in Milan. Her research focuses on the design of editorial products and narrative experiences.

Alessandro Manfrin (Savigliano, 1997) is a visual artist who currently lives and works in Milan. His work has the city context as its seminal point. The intent is to produce images that play with the urban landscape, inserting themselves in the boundary between the wild and the domesticated, the natural and the artificial.

Tobia Bandini (Faenza, 1991) is a composer with a passion for languages. He likes words, radio, microphones and samplers. He collects sounds, voices and moments and metabolizes them through electroacoustic and radio art works.

Sofia Tocca (Rome, 1995) is a visual artist. Her research focuses on the relationship between body, space and images, crossing different disciplines such as graphic arts, design and architecture.

Giulia Carpentieri (Roma, 1992), curator. Her research investigates the phenomenon of mutationas a manifestation of change and transformation. She uses thoughts, actions and stories that were and are no longer to create a new forms and ideas. The act of reusing as re-appropriation and recycling as movement.

Giulia Ninotta (Monza, 1997), museum educator. Her interest is in sustainability in all its forms and the research developed by the arts around it.

Paolo Bosca (Asti, 1996) works with philosophy and writing. His research currently focuses on the themes of utopia, space and architecture and aims to make philosophy an opportunity for encounters and expansions between disciplines.
