Lab for New Imaginations
The MACRO’s Department for Preventive Education is delighted to announce the participants selected for the first edition of the Lab for New Imaginations.

Leonardo Bentini (Rome, 1994) works in curating and criticism. His research moves around the concepts of body and bio-politics in an intersectional logic through art practices addressed to bio-hacking, technologies of care and radical pedagogy on and off the net.

Roberto Casti (Iglesias, 1992) is an artist and musician. He lives and works between Milan and Iglesias. His research, formalized through different languages, addresses the themes of interdependence and relationship with otherness. In 2014 he founded the performance and music project The Boys and Kifer.

Ginevra Collini (Rome, 1996) is a visual artist and co-founder of the independent space Porto Simpatica. Heavily influenced by the literary and narrative fields, her latest works directly call the viewer into play by letting them have stimuli for self-representation through the work.

Gabriele Ermini (Florence, 1996), is a visual artist. Primarily interested in painting, with a focus on the specificity of the medium, its limitations and formal values.

Alessandra Faccini (Verona, 1995) researches, writes, creates. Her interest lies in the investigation of the human being from a philosophical-critical perspective that takes into account the historicity in which the individual is cast.

Margherita Ferrario (Milan, 1995), thinks in words and therefore she writes. She lives in Turin, where she deals with social communication and incendiary literature with a critical, obstinate and dispassionate approach.

Chiara Lodrini (Treviglio, 2000) is a graphic designer and a student of New Technologies for Art. Her research focuses on the relationship between technologies and media, but also on typeface design and editorial projects.

Noa Merlini (Milan, 1998) is a transforming creative figure with interests in the visual arts and publishing. She finds stimulation and strength in relationships with people. Within her practice can be traced a militant attitude related to the politics of the everyday.

Federico Rebecchini (Rome, 1992) is a researcher and designer. His main activities are: studying architectural drawing, producing zines, consuming entertainment, collecting things.
