From 1976 to 1978 artist, architect, author and designer Luigi Serafini wrote and illustrated Codex Seraphinianus, a volume of nearly 400 pages first published in 1981 by Franco Maria Ricci editor.

Italo Calvin wrote as a preface to the volume the text titled Orbis Pictus Seraphinianus.

Una casa ontologica, on show until 25 August 2024, transports into the museum the imaginative attitude of Luigi Serafini, artist, architect, author and designer, whose research has always been conducted outside the conventional contexts of art.

I invited Nicola Pecoraro, artist and creator of my avatar, to curate this special episode.
