This episode of MEET THE ARTIST is dedicated to Giulia Crispiani (Ancona, 1986), writer and artist included in the RETROFUTURE section, the collection of works by young Italian artists growing organically with time. Her research includes the word, the conversation as a way of working, the analysis of the political dimension of our contemporary times, the feminist gaze. For the museum she created a written piece originally part of a text also by her from 2018, in which Rome is at the center of an imaginative and apocalyptic scenario. It is a “board proposal” for a future graphic novel, a sketch of a desire, the beginning of a project that will take shape in a few years: the museum becomes an active part in the growth process of the work itself.
