In this episode of MEET THE ARTIST, it is the artist who presents himself through a self-made montage, Phanos Kyriacou (Nicosia, 1977), the artist who created the project at. this moment specifically for the SUPPLEMENT section of the museum.

His work occupied the spaces of the central courtyard of MACRO and developed into the creation of sculptural elements of different shapes, colors and materials that created a constellation of possible alterations of the space and potential opportunities for physical displacement within it. In the artist’s words, it is “conceptualised as a micro-society of objects capable of facilitating growth and change”. This project develops Kyriacou’s interest in the environment he occupies and on the modalities of exchange between intervention and space.

I invited Nicola Pecoraro, artist and creator of my avatar, to curate this special episode.
