Finnish artist Jenna Sutela’s work is inspired by experiments in interspecies communication and aspires to connect with a world beyond our consciousness.

In the video below we follow the making of nimiia cétiï, a video installation by Jenna Sutela, which was created in collaboration with Somerset House Studios resident Memo Akten, and Damien Henry, Head of Innovation at the Google Arts & Culture Lab, as part of Google Arts & Culture’s artist-in-residence program n-Dimensions. Here the artist explains her interest in and way of working with non-human species.

At PIANETA COME FESTIVAL XL which is organised by MACRO together with Terraforma Festival, Jenna Sutela unveils a site-specific work situated on the MACRO terrace that reinterprets the work of Ettore Sottsass.

I invited Nicola Pecoraro, artist and creator of my avatar, to curate this special episode.
