From 11 May onwards, the exhibition Caresses will take a completely different form from its initial display. The narrative of the mystery, inherent in Fernand Khnopff’s painting Memories, will be obstructed by the presence of a labyrinth. The mise en scène results in the seven lamps representing Marguerite being viewed in sequence rather than in unison. In the labyrinth, the viewer is led into the painting and is able to see the plurality of the protagonists’ faces up close.

I invited Nicola Pecoraro, artist and creator of my avatar, to curate this special episode.
