On 22 April 1970, The First Earth Day marked the birth of the modern environmental movement. Since then, in various parts of the world, civil society has increased its commitment to tackling issues on climate change, pollution, deforestation and water, alongside broadening public and in particular young generation consciousness of animal abuse, and endangered species. In order to continue its participation in the global effort to increase awareness of these primordial issues, ART for The World has produced INTERACTIONS, a long feature film production incorporating 12 original short films, each on bonds and interactions between Nature, Humans, Animals Life, Ecosystems, Environment, Climate Change and Water, each influenced by behaviours considered essential to the spirit, health and well-being of both Humans and Animals. World premiered on 17 October at the Rome Film Festival, INTERACTIONS is conceived, developed and produced by Adelina von Fürstenberg, founder of ART for The World, international art curator and independent film producer, who wanted to pay tribute to the memory of African filmmaker Idrissa Puedraogo by including his last iconic short film The Chameleon in INTERACTIONS
