Portrait of Léonard Santé
Eleonora Luccarini is among the latest artists to enter the RETROFUTURE section, the collection of works by young Italian artists growing organically with time.
Léonard Santé is Eleonora Luccarini’s alter ego and the leading character of a larger interdisciplinary project based on poetry where the line between fiction and autobiography is blurred. Poetry is the medium through which Léonard, thus the artist, tries to understand his complex and contradictory relationship with emotional vulnerability, gender, sexuality, religion, future and family expectations.
ELEONORA LUCCARINI (Bologna, 1993) lives and works in Amsterdam. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Università IUAV di Venezia and Sandberg Institute.
