Organo del Sommerso

From 9 February 2024

Gabriele Silli joins RETROFUTURE section, the collection of works by young Italian artists growing organically with time.

Organo del Sommerso is a hanging sculpture resulting from the incessant process of layering different elements. The process and the work open a philosophical reflection on the passing of time and the possibility of manipulating matter.

GABRIELE SILLI (Rome, 1982), graduated in Philosophy at La Sapienza University in Rome in 2009. He is co-founder of Post Ex, Rome 2020. He has shown his works in solo exhibitions at: Galerie Mazzoli, Berlin; GAM, Rome, 2022; Giorgio Galotti Gallery, Turin, 2019; Via Macerata, Rome, 2018; Federica Schiavo Gallery, Rome; Viafarini, Milan 2014.
