GIANLUCA CONCIALDI
Santissima Pizzeria

From 3 February 2021
#Retrofuture

Gianluca Concialdi joins the RETROFUTURE section, the collection of works by young Italian artists growing organically with time.

The installation Santissima Pizzeria (2020), is a mobile kitchen lab that calls for the active participation of the observer, countering the more contemplative aspect of art. The work not only takes shape in situ but also in the minds of those who experience it. These mobile laboratories are kitchen-places where you can experiment a dimension of self-determination of your present moment and/or the future: uncertainty is no longer imagined, but becomes a concrete weight in anyone’s life.
