LUDOVICA CARBOTTA
Untitled (Stine)

From 3 February 2021
#Retrofuture

Ludovica Carbotta joins the RETROFUTURE section, the collection of works by young Italian artists growing organically with time.

Untitled (Stine) (2020), brings to mind the story of a forgotten past, that of the Telamons that have lost any memory of their lives. This is how the artist presents her work: “The Telamons have suffered a great loss that has left them with deep scars, they lost the memory of their past. Stine, the Telamon, comes to terms with this and looks calmly into the future. She considers the disappearance of her history as a relief, she doesn’t want it back. An inner lightness has been spreading through her ever since. Resting and yet fragile.”
