ROBERTO FASSONE
In collaboration with VALERIA MANCINELLI
The Importance of Being Context

From 7 July 2022
#Retrofuture

Roberto Fassone joins the RETROFUTURE section, the collection of works by young Italian artists which grows organically with time.

The Importance of Being Context stems from an idea Valeria had during her first year of university: a YouTube playlist with amateur videos as the protagonists, curiously similar to historic art performances. When she told me about this idea I fell in love with it, so we went to work on what has now become an archive.  (Roberto Fassone)
