VISITING RULES

 

A closed-circuit TV (CCTV) system is in operation inside the building for security purposes.

 

Visitors may access the exhibition spaces up to half an hour before MACRO’s closing time. It is neither possible to enter the building nor use the ticket desk after this time.

 

Visitors may use their mobile phones to consult applications during their visit to the exhibitions, but if they do so, they must make sure that all sound is turned off to avoid disturbing other visitors. No electronic devices may be used for making phone calls, taking photographs or recording video footage.

 

Visitors may not bring pets or animals of any kind into the museum.

 

Visitors may move freely inside the building, its exhibition spaces and its commercial services, taking care not to disturb or endanger artworks and/or other visitors and permitting other visitors to also move freely inside the museum.

 

Visitors may move freely within the exhibition spaces but they must take care to stay at least one metre away from the artworks and avoid touching display cases and any other exhibition elements.

 

When taking notes and/or drawing in the exhibition spaces, visitors should avoid the use of fountain pens and felt-tip pens.

 

No food or drink may be consumed inside the exhibition spaces or nearby areas. Smoking is not permitted inside the museum.

 

Visitors who wish to photograph, film, or engage in any other form of journalism must request and receive written authorization from the Management of Azienda Speciale Palaexpo beforehand.

 

Visitors can drop off promotional material exclusively upon prior request and authorization by the Management of Azienda Speciale Palaexpo.
