In this episode of Contemporaneamente, Mariantonietta Firmani’s podcast, literary critic Andrea Cortellessa talks with artist Elisabetta Benassi about art and literature, the pleasure of intelligence and the desire for freedom.

Elisabetta Benassi is the protagonist of the exhibition Autoritratto al lavoro (Self-portrait at work). The exhibition project, on show until 25 August 2024, presents more than twenty years of her production, juxtaposing historical works from the early 2000s with recent works and three new productions created especially for the occasion.

I invited Nicola Pecoraro, artist and creator of my avatar, to curate this special episode.
