Dott: two free rides lasting 20 minutes each for all new members using the code MACRO2R and 15% per-minute with the code MACRO15. To take advantage of the benefits, simply download the Dott app, select the “Promotions” item in the Menu, and enter the codes.
Visitors may not be accompanied inside the museum by animals of any size or kind. If you want to bring your own dog with you, you can book the new Bauadvisor dog walking service via app or website.
At the entrance there will be expert Bauadvisor dog sitters and dog walkers who will take care of your dog until the end of the visit with a 20% discount reserved to MACRO visitors.
Guide dogs for blind persons and emotional support animals with a certificate issued by a mental health professional are always excluded from access restrictions.
MACRO is accessible to everyone. During opening hours the entrance is supervised by our staff, who are present to welcome visitors, help them and facilitate their entry into the museum and its exhibition spaces.
A free wheelchair rental service is available for visitors with mobility disabilities or walking problems.
The museum is also accessible to visitors on mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs.
In areas where access or use is not permitted for space reasons, visitors are invited to transfer to traditional wheelchairs, which can be hired free of charge from the cloakroom.
There are reserved toilets in each of the toilet areas.
An underground parking, operated by Mondial Parking, is available and open every day, 24 hours a day, including holydays, accessible via a ramp in via Cagliari 31.
The elevators operate from Tuesday to Friday, from 12 pm to 7 pm, on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm. When the elevators are not operating, stairs can be used.
Discounted visitor rates are provided during the Museum’s opening hours:
• €1 per hour or part thereof for the first three hours of parking.
• €3 per hour or part thereof from the 4th hour of stop and up to the 9th hour.
• Beyond 9 hours, the daily rate of €21.00 applies.
To take advantage of the discount, you must request a time stamp from the Museum’s reception staff at via Nizza 138 or via Reggio Emilia 54 to be placed on your parking ticket when entering and leaving the Museum.
To exit the parking lot, it is necessary to go to the guarded garage to make payment by card only, and not at the automated teller machines.
A pink seat reserved for pregnant women and new mothers is available. In the area preceding the entrance barrier there are three parking spots reserved for disabled visitors, free of charge for three hours.
