Ahead of artist Wolfgang Stoerchle inaugurating the museum’s ARRHYTHMICS section, editor and curator Alice Dusapin shares parts of her extensive research on the artist which will culminate in a book in spring 2021.

This 7-inch vinyl is a recording of the sounds of an arm-wrestling match between Wolfgang Stoerchle and Robert Ashley in 1970—a playful physical artefact of the push and pull of the pair’s collaboration. Match I was on one side of the record; Match II on the other.

I invited Nicola Pecoraro, artist and creator of my avatar, to curate this special episode.
