In this video you can listen to the talk between Alan Bishop and Hisham Mayetheld – founders of the collective and independent music label Sublime Frequencies, to which The Extra Geography exhibition was dedicated in the CHAMBER MUSIC section. The event (held in Auditorium on 15 October 2021) was dedicated to the story and to the video and sonic productions of Sublime Frequencies, and included a screening of two films by the label: Musical Brotherhoods of the Trans-Saharan Highway, and Sumatran Folk Cinema, both released in 2008.

I invited Nicola Pecoraro, artist and creator of my avatar, to curate this special episode.
